  • Does Vantage Support Keyframe Animations?

I've seen videos of objects moving etc in Vantage.

I am using Corona render and have a simple keyframe animation of objects moving, but when I load it into vantage there isn't any animation?

    What am I doing wrong?

I cant seem to find any tutorials that show you how to do this.

There are two ways to animate things in Vantage - A) by using the DCC tools and the information coming through live link or vrscene file; or B) by creating cameras and scene states in Vantage and ordering them in the Vantage animation editor. The latter option is of course more limited in what it can animate. For Corona specifically maybe option A is not implemented yet. Corona has to export the scene animation in V-Ray format for live link or a vrscene file. I think this is not fully implemented yet for animations. You could ask on the Corona forum for details.

Corona does not support exporting animation from the DCC at this point (Corona 12 Update 1 Hotfix 1). Any animation has to be done in Vantage itself. We are working on it!
