  • make: HDR enviroment do not affect reflection of Pavement

Many times I render metal machinery on an empty scene with just pavement an HDRI and some light

I wish to have HDRI affect all my scene object (reflection) in the scene but I wish to make the HDRI not visible to reflection to my pavement (so that is easier to make it blend with a solid color background)

I know how to do that in vray but it doesn't translate into vantage so I wish for some workaround.

Of course, as many I hope for a future shadow catcher material but for now I can use a pavement with the same color of the background and no matte alfa

I don't think you can do this at this point. Neither light include/exclude lists (internal id: LAV-838 ) nor multiple VRayDome lights (internal id: LAV-155) are yet supported. However, both are logged as improvements. Shadow catcher too, of course.
