Here an example Theoretical perfect, barrel distortion, pincushion distortion and complex/mustache distortion would be some good ones.

I just want to share my experiment, I will be happy to try this new feature.
Anyway Sometimes I place a "scaled in one axis sphere" and I put the vraycam inside, the sphere is completely transparent with no reflection, then if i play with the refraction IOR of the perfect christal of the sphere I obtain various kinds of fisheyes, or i can deform in the opposite sense; and consider that you can animate the IOR inside the 3d software you use so you can have a normal camera that change gradually into a fisheye, unfortunately DOF doesn't work with this trick.
