  • PhoenixFD -> vrscene -> Vantage

    To export PhoenixFD liquid sims from 3dsmax to a vrscene, then to Vantage. I'm adding an Edit Mesh modifier on top of the sim in which the Rendering is set as Mode "Mesh". When I open it Vantage, the entire simulation has no smoothing groups so the meshes look jagged (polys). Is there a better way to do this?

    Can you send your max file to https://support.chaos.com/hc/en-us/requests/new ?
    Does it look fine if you send it through the live-link?

      I'm exporting to a vrscene and opening the vrscene in Vantage. Through live link everything looks ok. I'm assuming it's the 3dsmax -> vrscene that is the issue. I'll see if I can get a max file to support.

        Alright, we will check out the setup from the max file when you upload it to the support portal.

          OK, I've submitted a file for review. The PhoenixFD sim will have to be calculated on your end as I've only sent the 3dsmax file.
