  • Rendering a sequence in Real-Time quality/speed

    Hi all,

How can I render my animation with the same speed and quality as with real time?
I just need a draft and don't want to wait for offline rendering.

Select the DLSS denoiser from Edit->Preferences->Render defaults, if you haven't. Then use Tools->Record Animation Previz Video. It will play the sequence and record a video file in the scene folder.

Thank you! The previz is recorded at 1 FPS. Where's the setting to change that?

EDIT: also, it's strange that the second time I click on "render animation previz video" it runs the previz recording without going to a dialogue box or settings before letting me to click start. Is that normal?

I'm not sure if you mean that the renderer only manages to render at 1 FPS (this would mean it's a large resolution and heavy scene) or that the video file is saved with 1 FPS. If it's the latter - check your animation's FPS - it should be using that for the video.
