  • Frame Mismatch

I've been exporting scenes to Lavina using camera paths that have a set frame length in 3ds max (say an 80 frame camera move). The export process goes through all 80 frames, but when I render the sequence in Lavina the progress shows only 63 frames being processed. I've checked back in the output folder and all 80 frames seem to render. There seems to be a mismatch with the progress dialogue.

When rendering a sequence, Lavina resamples it at FPS value chosen in the "Render sequence" dialog (defaults to 24). If the animation was originally at a different frame rate (e.g. 30), you would get a different number of rendered frames, but the length of time would be the same. Is that the case? 63-64 frames is what you would get when resampling a 30 fps source at 24 fps.

That is exactly what's happening. Thanks for clarifying.

Just an update, the FPS value isn't updating and everything renders at 24FPS regardless of what the frame rate is set to in the Render Sequence dialogue.

Indeed, this is a new bug. Will be fixed. Thanks for reporting!
