  • Bumpmap not working in 0.6.0 release?

    Hi all,

    I noticed that bumpmapping is not working in my files. I first noticed it when working on a water plane with a general 3DsMax noise map connected to the bump slot. Also cranked up the bump material to 100%. After that I tested a general bitmap with no luck.
    I was using the new Live link function (very nice btw! many thanks for that!), so I tested it also using a vrscene export.
    I'm using v-ray 5 hotfix 2, Lavina v0.6.0, build 826298 and an Nvidia 457.30 driver.
    I also checked if the checkbox in Lavina is on (Render>Bumpmapping and tested several bump multipliers).
    Anything I'm missing here?

    The 0.6.0 build doesn't support the new built-in bump mapping in the V-Ray material introduced in V-Ray 5.
    This is already fixed in our internal builds.

    However, we still have support only for bitmaps when doing bump mapping.
    Support for procedural textures (like noise or anything else supported through Lavina's shading graph system) will come later.
    I am not sure it will be possible in the next build that we release.
