Can't initiate Liove Link - License error -197

Hi!

I've tried Project Lavina until version 0.6.0 and everything went smooth. However, when I installed Chaos Vantage and tried to initiate Live Link an error message appeared. It says: "License Error -197: There are no available licenses of this type on the ChaosGoup License Server. Still trying to obtain license..."
In 3ds Max, under performance tab>distributed rendering>render servers - I inserted in port range the value of 20701.

What can I do to solve this problem?

Hey, with the official release of Vantage it now has it's own license. Registering for it is free and does not tie you with a future purchase.

Once you register you should get the new license added to your account and Chaos license server.

If you've done that and still have the license error it's possible that you have several accounts and the license is added to the wrong one. In such a situation it's best to contact out support team directly so they can check exactly what is going on.

You're probably right; I have a professional account with v-ray, but I logged in with my personal account and downloaded chaos vantage this way. Monday I'll log in with the work account and let you now if eveything's going fine.

Yesterday finally my IT colleague signed in to the account were was the v-ray license, and registered chaos vantage there. That solved my issue, thanks!
