Livelink only shows default tree scene

When I activate Livelink Vantage only shows the default scene with the tree.
Should I setup something to have it working?

I'm running 3dsmax 2021.3 with last vray 5 stable nightly and last version of vantage on windows 10.

What happens in 3ds Max ? What does the V-Ray log there show ?
If you are still seeing the default scene, it means a live link connection was not successfully established.

By the way, there is a preference in Vantage to disable the loading of the default scene, in case you don't want to see it each time you start Vantage.
Just to be clear, this won't fix your issue.
