V-Ray for Sketchup exports native Sketchup materials as baked raw textures which we do not support yet in Vantage. Looks like that is why your material is missing. It is on our TODO list to implement raw bitmap support.
In addition to what Nikola said, V-Ray export not only native sketchup textures(from the materials library) but all textures that have no valid file paths as baked raw textures which Vantage doesn't support. Please make sure that all textures have proper paths which can be accessed in disk and you should see them in Vantage when you load the .vrscene.
From what I understand you can fix the paths from Extensions > V-Ray > File Path Editor. All textures of native Sketchup materials are like this - Sketchup loads them from memory by default, so the workaround is to use this dialog to export them to files. You should be able to click "Archive and repath" there and the items would initially show up with a yellow icon.
From the sent .vrscene I can see that there is a Mtl Override used and applied to all geometry. If I export a new vrscene from the skp file, the scene looks fine in Vantage:
Have you by any chance used the Mtl Override functionality?
OK, so there are two ways to export a vrscene from Sketchup: Either from the asset editor render button drop-down choice or from the Export Proxy button by choosing "scene mode". Apparently Vanja used the latter. And it seems there is a bug in V-Ray for Sketchup - their team is investigating.
Vanja, try exporting from the asset editor instead:
Hello, vanja_uri ,
It looks like you've stumbled upon a scene export bug in V-Ray for SketchUp. So far we were aware of it only occurring on macOS.
As my colleague Vladimir already requested, could you please describe in detail how the vrscene export was done?
Kind regards,
Peter

I opened a fresh window of Vantage, and of Sketchup and vray.
I exported it trough the toolbar originally. Material override was off.
When I export trough the asset editor, I can not find the object in Chaos Vantage at all. Might have to look into that, not sure what is happening since I never used that way of exporting.
The random export behavior bug in V-Ray for Sketchup has been fixed. This will be included in the next VfS update which is due next week if all goes to plan.
