When opening a scene that I already ran in the vantage, after a certain moment, it didn't open anymore, the error log warns me of the following problem, is there a solution for that?
You can disable any IES lights, as that's what causes this crash.
We have this fixed as far as I know, but it hasn't been released yet.
The bug is in V-Ray for 3ds Max, so you will have to update that once we release a fixed build.
No, it looks like a different one.
Is Vantage running, is it listening on the same port that's setup in V-Ray for 3ds Max ?
These are some of the possible reasons for this issue - V-Ray for 3ds Max doesn't see Vantage.
Hello Vladimir, I have problem livelink doesn't work when I push resolve it seems like this
The resolve button just finds the IP address of the server. In this case, you have already specified it as an IP address.
Did you try the live link button from the Vantage toolbar ?
Can you explain what happens when you do ?
It should start Vantage and the live link in one go.

Greetings,
Vladimir Nedev
Thanks for the quick response
When I click the livelink, only the tree appears but when you send it opens the scene
Are you on V-Ray 5 ? The live link works only with V-Ray 5.
Have you tried starting the live link manually, i.e. not from the Vantage tool bar ?
You need to:
1. start Vantage.
2. in 3ds Max, switch the renderer to V-Ray GPU.
3. in 3ds Max, enable distributed rendering and enter the same info you showed in your sreen-shot. also disable "use local host".
4. in 3ds Max, open the VFB and click the "Start interactive render" button - teapot with green arrow.
These are the steps that the "Initiate live link" button from the Vantage toolbar does internally.
It's possible there is a bug in some specific case.
