So, this ongoing saga with the timeline mismatch from Max to Vantage and back again.
For literally weeks we have been struggling to make a Vantage shot of what appears to be 100 frames match a Max shot when that camera is exported from Vantage to Max.
Although the Vantage shot shows 100 frames and renders 100 frames, when the camera is exported into Max the keyframes are 0 to 100, as in Vantage...but Max of course renders 101 frames.
Quite by chance we discovered today that if that 0 to 100 camera from Max (the export from Vantage, 101 frames) is merged into a Vantage scene which has, crucially, more than 100 frames, Vantage will now correctly render 101 frames, so matching Max.
So in the native Vantage 100 frame scene Vantage is clipping the last frame when rendering, whilst correctly (matching Max's) showing the timeline as 0 to 100.
Hopefully that makes sense - it is simple to test.
What an utter headache LOL
The life of a beta tester I guess
