  • Map Issues when generating .vrscene

Guys, when trying to export a file to .vrscene using vray exporter I got the message with problems in these shaders stating that the Blur and the offset of the maps are different.
Has anyone had this problem? Is there any script to solve this?
Has anyone managed to solve this problem?

I think Vantage likes the map blur to be the default value of 1. If you click on the warning it should take you to that material where you can change it.
A lot of our old library files have values for the blur set to something other than 1 (a lot are 0.1)

There are a few little maxscript snippets floating around on the forums to set texture properties which work well if you just need to set all the scene maps back to blur = 1.0

This message is for the V-Ray GPU engine, although in this case it does apply to Vantage as well.

Generally the texture filtering in Vantage is different compared to both the V-Ray CPU and GPU engines.
Also, we will probably make changes to it in the future.

So, you should probably just ignore these messages.
Setting the blur to 1 will not be enough to match the V-Ray CPU results in all cases.
