Vantage 1.5 C4D Lights are displayed upside down

  • Vantage 1.5 C4D Lights are displayed upside down

    The lights are shown reversed! Displayed mirror-inverted probably again because of the mirror-inverted coordinate system of Cinema 4d.
    If I place a point light in C4D on the left side of a room, it will be displayed in Vantage on the right side!

    Can you give us a scene file ? Which kinds of lights ?
    I tested a simple rectangle light and it seems ok.

        Thanks for the scene.
        It's a live link issue related to our new code that internally flips the scene from a left-handed (only C4D uses this) to a right-handed coordinate system.
        We did this in order to fix the flipped environment from C4D .vrscenes, but also to allow the correct (not flipped) import of Cosmos assets.

        We will fix the issue ASAP and upload a fixed build.

            Thanks for the quick fix for the problem with the lights.
            Unfortunately I ran into a new problem when I want to take a snapshot it opens the window for rendering but does not start rendering no progress display visible according to JPG!
            But the sequence Rendering work perfectly?

              Hello Mr Pock,

              Yes, thank you for reporting it, we will fix this ASAP. The progress bar is not updating but in the background Vantage is rendering and refining the image so as a workaround solution for now you could wait a while and click the Stop and Save button, or use the animation editor drag the camera in the camera track and add a Pause element with 1fr duration. Sequence rendering should be working properly after the hotfix yesterday.
