C4D Ramdomizer Material

Hello!
I just tested the randomizer material in Cinema 4D and Vantage I added two pictures I rotated the materials but the display in C4D and Vantage do not match?

Hi Mr. Pock,

This is due to the fact that Vantage and V-Ray use different random seed values so you will (almost)always get different results when using the randomization options. That is unless the random seed values match in both applications. Also you does the C4D viewport and V-Ray match because in my tests the viewport image and the render don't match as well?

So i can't use the randomizer material is useless for me because i render everything in (Vantage) i love it!
Can you not add a rodtation for the material to the standard material? Or do you have a better suggestion how I can rotate materials that doesn't work with Cinema 4D material and layers either!

No, you can use it. The random rotation and other options work but in this case the random rotation value was 0. Change the seed value of the texture and a rotation should appear eventually. I will log an issue to try to match V-Ray better.

With the UVW randomizer, the degrees you specify determine a range of values.
The generated random value is then used to select within this range.
