  • Denoiser cannot be controlled. Too much splotchy in the scene

I was rendering an animation and what i noticed is denoiser overpowering the scene and causes splotchy in the scene which really weird..is there anyway i can control the denoiser like in Vray VFB? I'm providing the screenshots below

More samples is the solution. There's no magic number...just what is acceptable for the frame time/quality you're aiming for.

Please read this post by Nikola

Also, the bump mapping in your render might be too strong, because Vantage doesn't render it the same way V-Ray does.
So, instead of disabling bump mapping (like Nikola's post suggests), you can try decreasing the bump multiplier.

My suggestion was not to disable bump to fix this issue. Please read carefully. I suggested making a comparison between renders with and without "reduce flickering" without bump to see the general sharpness difference.
