Bitmap vs. Vraybitmap Bump Mapping

Just hoping this was flagged and addressed in the next release of Vantage.
I noticed that Bump mapping doesn't work with a Vraybitmap in the slot however works if I use a Standard bitmap instead.

Both should work pretty much the same.
However, maybe there is an issue with the RGB output/Mono output/Alpha source options of the VRayBitmap.
Can you attach a simple example scene of the issue ?

Sorry for the false alarm. Appears to be working now I'm wondering if there was some bug in a very old scene that I had recently updated.
One thing I will say is that with some of my older scenes, displacement doesn't appear in the compact mat editor previews. Is that expected?

Displacement doesn't render with the new swatches; if you turn ON the option "Native 3ds Max material swatches" in the System rollout of the Settings tab, then you will be able to see a crude approximation of the displacement.
