sometimes after closing vantage - max close button is greyed out

Like the title says

I cant quit max via the red X, it gets greyed out for some reason.

But using the maxscript:
quitmax() works fine

Hi Morne,

Was Vantage closed during Live Link and did you click on the Live Link button inside Max before closing Vantage? If you hadn't click the button before closing Vantage, the live link is still running in the background and when Vantage is started again it will automatically connect.

Not sure, Its possible I may have just closed Vantage without closing the livelink 1st

Could a future version close the livelink if vantage is closed?

And related, when closing Vantage, it leaves DR on, and if you want to render locally, you need to add the local machine to DR, or switch off DR
