  • Huge light tree artifacts

Hello, my scene have hundreds of lights and with light tree it works fine except one types of light: this small spotlight with high intensity (222 intesity and its vraylight plane with 0.8 directionally)
So with light tree i get very flickering image in motion, and when i turn off light tree all of that noise are dissapear.
But it very impact on vram, so it there any settings for light tree to force Vantage for better calculaiting this specific lights?

    Hi anan_vozak,

There are no per light settings that can be tweaked for the light tree and such issue will probably occur until we improve the light tree or implement adaptive lights or similar. In the next release of Vantage there will be a dynamic texture(mip-maps) option to reduce VRAM consumption. You can utilize it to reduce the resource required for textures and disable the light tree so there are no splotchiness. We will let you know when tis will become available.

    Best regards,
    Alexander
