Cloud animation back-forth issue

Sorry, maybe I described it wrong. There is no smooth movement of clouds - it is scattered. When I render it, I see in Vantage viewport that e.g. 4 frames was rendered one way of cloud movement and then 1 frame jump back (opposite movement of clouds), and then it repeat again...few frames one way, one frame back.
Then in the video the clouds does not flow fluently.
I will try to record render process in higher resoultion.

No need. I think I can see it now if I go frame by frame in youtube. Did you output png images or mp4 directly? If you rendered images, can you check if images with consecutive numbers indeed sometimes have reverse movement (to rule out something messing up in video encoding)? Also, is the framerate in the animation editor (bottom right of the Vantage window, with the editor opened) the same as the frame rate you set in the render dialog?Nikola Goranov

I can´t replicate it, now. Maybe it was some glitch or something....anyway to your questions:
- I rendered directly to mp4 (no images)
- I am not suer, but it could be something with frame rate....maybe in render dialog I set it to 25, insteda of default 30 fps.
But, I made a few animations and the issue is gone.
My next question is: Could I animate cloud options such as density, phases or thickness? /to animate e.g. incoming storm/ or just wind intensity and direction?
Thanks

We only have the wind-based animation now. You could keyframe more parameters in 3ds Max if you use Live Link with V-Ray 6 where the same cloud system is available. We will have to extend the animation system in Vantage to support what you're asking for (keyframing pretty much any parameter) and it's a large task.Nikola Goranov
