  • velvet texture problem in Chaos Vantage

    Hello everybody,

    i have a problem with velvet texture on chaos vantage.
    Like you can see in the images preview, i have no problem to render a velvet texture on vray. But i lose all fall-off and sheen property when i render on chaos vantage.

    Can tou help me plz ?

    Maybe because it unsupported (if you use sheen in that case)

        Hi Mala_suerte,

        We will add support for the sheen layer at some point. As a workaround, you could use a combination of a Falloff map in the reflection slot and noise in the glossiness slot. It will produce somewhat similar results. Let me know if this works.

          Thank you for your answer and sorry for mine, because it is late. Here's what it looks like using your method.​
          The Fall off effect is still too weak but better than my first test.
