  • Phoenix Foam and Splash

    Hi all,

Anyone know how to get this rendering inside Vantage via livelink with 3dsmax?

I can get normal liquid sims rendering fine but alas no additional splashes or foam, would of thought the edit mesh method would work here, alas it doesn't.

    Thanks in advance,

    Jason

    Hi Jason,

Currently particle shaders(such as splashes or foam) are not supported in Vantage and unless there is a way to convert them into mesh they will not render. We have that request logged in our system but cannot say when it will be available.

    Best regards,

        Hi Jason,

We haven't yet implemented support for particles but you can try this workaround with tyflow to generate spheres which will render in Vantage https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T8OpSC7v8s8

        Best regards.
