Yes, we have a regression in 1.8.2, which we will hopefully fix soon with a 1.8.3 release.

Note that the VRayOverrideMtl is not yet supported, however.

Note that 1.8.1 doesn't support the VRayOverrideMtl, but it skips it successfully, avoiding the "pink" materials.
