Hallo everyone,
I'm trying to render a long (4500 frames) preview animation in vantage in 720p with "Render animation via Live Link" of 3ds max 2023, because i have animated vray proxys that don't update the animation when rendered with vantage standalone.
Here I noticed that after round about 75 frames, the render quality degrades an the renders are getting worse and worse. They are getting noisier with more artefacts each frame. Due to this I noticed the frame percentage counter of the "render sequence" popup window of vantage stops at the beginning of the animation at round about 20% for a short time before continueing to count up. Further down the animation the frame percentage counter starts increasing the initial percentage before it stops for a second and then continuing to count up to 100%.
For example at the beginning fo the animation it stops at 20%, at rendered frame 50 it stops at 60% and at renderet frame 100 it stops at 95%
Perhaps this is related to the decreasing quality of the rendered frames?
Is there a solution to a. render animated vray proxys directly in vantage or b. get a optimised live link connection to continuously export frames with the same good quality?
I'm using V-Ray 6 Update 1.1 (6.10.06 build 00001), the latest version of 3dsMax an Chaos Vantage on a Xeon with 64gb Ram and a 4090 founder edition.
Cheers and thanks everyone,
Ben
