Good afternoon guys,
Is anyone else finding the 3dsmax to Vantage combo being sometimes unreliable in large scenes these days?
I have a series of animation routes which mostly work fine but sometimes it gets bugged, alas this morning it's happened again.
I have to caveat the file is 1Gb and has about 250 rigged Anima characters in this route of the scene. It has rendered this scene before with no problems over the weekend, alas when I send the file today as a standalone to Vantage I'm getting random stops when exporting, since this morning I've had a 3200 frame animation send the first 1000 frames before stopping, trying again after another reboot I'm getting maybe 50-100 frames before the export stops, it doesn't hang, just opens Vantage with the 100 frames. I find rebooting the machine generally is the only chance of a succesful export.
This file has worked before many times but recently it's flakey.
I have 128 Gb or ram and a 64 Gb RTX A6000, plenty of ram available here.
Thanks for any help / input,
Jason
