    Hi,
I've been testing Vantage 2 with Sketchup since this morning.
    Here are a few thoughts:
    - the Refraction/Thin-Walled option for a material applied to a surface without thickness doesn't seem to work properly in Vantage 2. --> It's written in the documentation that it's not managed.
    - my camera's field of view in Sketchup is 35°, whereas in Vantage 2 it's 58.544°. Visually, the angle of view is the same. If I switch to focal length, Vantage 2 indicates 31.911mm, which doesn't correspond at all to Sketchup's 57mm.
    - the 2-point perspective mode is still not compatible.

    - scenes created in the Sketchup file are not converted to Cameras in Vantage 2. Only the scene displayed on the screen when exported to .vrscene is exported.

    - in Sketchup, dome light HDRI Rotate H setting is 70, whereas in Vantage 2 it appears as 290

    - in Vantage 2, the View / Frame Selected/Scene command does not seem to work in orthographic mode. It works correctly in perspective mode

    I'm still testing.

I would follow up on your observation through testing.. Mesh Lights does not work.. when you add Mesh Lights to an object, the object just disappears and does not emit light..

In my case, it doesn't disappear; the object is simply moved somewhere in the scene.
When exporting the .vrscene file, the color of the mesh light is not exported; it's black by default.
If you change the color of this mesh light in Vantage 2, the mesh light returns to its original position and functions correctly.

        Hi all,

Thin-Walled option for a material applied to a surface without thickness doesn't seem to work properly in Vantage 2
Yes, thin-walled is not currently supported but it is logged in our system and we will add support for it in the future.

the 2-point perspective mode is still not compatible.
Yes, it is still not supported but we are aware of it and will add support for it in the future. As a workaround, you can use the Auto vertical tilt option in the Camera tab in Vantage.

scenes created in the Sketchup file are not converted to Cameras in Vantage 2. Only the scene displayed on the screen when exported to .vrscene is exported.
This is a request for the V-Ray for SketchUp team. I will forward your request to them.

my camera's field of view in Sketchup is 35°, whereas in Vantage 2 it's 58.544°. Visually, the angle of view is the same. If I switch to focal length, Vantage 2 indicates 31.911mm, which doesn't correspond at all to Sketchup's 57mm.
This is happening because we do some conversions to match V-Ray. I am not sure which UI shows the correct FoV/Focal length - SketchUp or Vantage/V-Ray will have to look into it.

in Sketchup, dome light HDRI Rotate H setting is 70, whereas in Vantage 2 it appears as 290
This is also happening because we do some conversions to match V-Ray. In this case When in SketchUp is 70 in Vantage is 360-70=290.

View / Frame Selected/Scene command does not seem to work in orthographic mode
We have it logged in our system and will be fixed in the future.

When exporting the .vrscene file, the color of the mesh light is not exported; it's black by default.
Thank you for reporting it. We will try to add a fix for it in the next release.

        Best regards,
        Alexander
