    I am sorry to start a new thead about a 1+ year old issue, but Vantage is still not saving to 3DS MAX. I have to reinstall everytime I want to use it.

    We would need some significant help from you in order to even begin resolving this issue, as no one else has reported it and we can't reproduce it.

      Hi, thanks for posting. With all the work done in the older threads I can not suggest anything other than a team viewer session. Please read again your older threads, go through everything one more time and if you have run out of options, open a ticket trough the contact form to settle a date and time for a TV session. Please include a link to this thread in your e-mail so we can track you faster.​

        I have to ask (because I have seen this type of behavior before with Max and other plugins), does this behavior persist with an new version of max? And has this happened across different Windows installations that you might have done over the last year or so? From what I have seen previously, this is related to Windows user permissions and max/chaos being unable to edit the appropriate files/reg entries.

          I have DELL support and they said that is a software issue. I also have Microsoft support, and they say the same thing; both logged in remotely. Chaos also logged in remotely, but never followed up when they couldn’t fix it. It is a Windows 11/MAX issue. Of course, Autodesk doesn’t have a solution. I reinstalled Windows and it didn't help anything. My VFB settings also don't stick. There is nothing unique about my installs, just plain simple, and clean installs of everything.

            The toolbar dilemma is 100% a V-Ray thing. New PC, new Windows and MAX install. Everything is dandy, and all my scripts are happy in my toolbar. I install V-Ray and my toolbar gets pushed into the top ribbon and when I move it the next MAX reboot, it is back to the top.
