I am currently experiencing a problem with my individual annual license for Chaos Vantage. My license, which still has nine months left before it expires, has always worked correctly with the previous version. However, now that Chaos Vantage 2.0 has been released and I'm trying to use it, I'm encountering an issue.
Whenever I run the 2.0 version, I receive this error message: "197 There are no available licenses of this type on the ChaosGroup license server." I'm unsure if this means my existing license is not valid for the 2.0 version or if I need to perform some kind of upgrade to use it.
On the license server window, it's showing as Chaos Vantage 1.0. But when I checked the Chaos Group website, I couldn't find any options allowing me to upgrade my license. Needless to say, I'm not willing to purchase a new license with nine months still remaining on my current one.
I would appreciate any help or guidance from the community or Chaos Group team regarding this issue. Is there a need for an upgrade? If so, could you please direct me on how to proceed? If not, how can I resolve this licensing error?
