    Hi there
    is caustics working on live link on C4D-vantage? I think that on beta, was working... on V2 is not working at all. Also refraction glossiness is working?

    Hi Nuno, I'm pretty sure Vantage do not have the power to compute caustics.
    Refraction glossiness is not supported as far as I know. As a workaround you can try this trick from the old days when glossiness was not supported by any engine, try to insert a very fine noise inside the bump slot with very low intensity, you will end up with glossiness on both reflection and refraction, don't know how Vantage denoiser will handle this though.

      I don't think we've made changes to this.
      Vantage doesn't support direct caustics calculation (tracing caustics paths from the lights in the scene).
      However, if you disable the "affect shadows" option for your glass material and use AREA lights, refractive GI caustics will be generated.

        thanks guys for the tips and answers. think I saw some works with vantage and caustics but they must be refractive GI caustics. thanks
