Very slow to save images to disk

Hello,

We are working with Chaos vantage 2.1.0 and a rendering a scene from 3dsMax in live link, a sequence frame takes 26 seconds to render but it takes 4 minutes to write an image to disk with or without render element and in png or exr...

- Where is this measurement from, is it from the Vantage log?
- What are the GPU, CPU, hard drive models?
- What is the render resolution?
- Do you have issues with other applications trying to write to the same disk? A failing disk (magnetic HDD) could become very slow.
- Antivirus software may be scanning the new file and blocking the process. Can you rule this out?

Every time this has happened to me it is due to maps not being linked correctly. I use the Relink Bitmaps script to clean this up and the issue goes away. Seems similar to this thread...
