  • Magenta Texture, why ?

    Hi,
I'm doing some tests with 3DS Max 2024 and Vantage 2.1.1 and here's what I get with the scene from the "Realistic interior day lighting with V-Ray for 3ds Max" tutorial from the ChaosTV Youtube channel.

Any idea of the problem ?

    Hi DCHA34,

On the sofa there is a V-Ray fur and a VRayHair material applied. The hair material is currently not support and that is why it is magenta- anything that appears magenta means that it is not supported. We do plan to add support for it in the near future.

    Best regards,
    Alexander

      Hi Alexander,
Thank you. I couldn't see the V-Ray Fur icon among all these objects.
On this subject, is it possible to have a list of the V-Ray geometries used in the .max file, as is the case in V-Ray for Sketchup ?
