  • Render quality issue

Hey guys, I can not seem to remove some "flickering" in the scene. Please check the video:
    https://go.wetransfer.com/t-vHH4RYMGI8

We have set the render quality to ULTRA, and set lights tree to 14 samples. Just does not want to get rid of it.

What I assume might be an issue, we have only one spot light source in the room on the ceiling (over 100000 in power to light it up properly), and one artificial light coming trough the window. Not sure if that is the cause?

If you really have just two light sources, then light tree samples (and reservoir resampling) is not likely to help. It seems there is some other source of noise. You could try the new "view mode" (above the quality slider) feature to check the different render elements like GI and reflections, see if there are noticeable issues there. Are you rendering on a single GPU? Are you using at least 2 GI bounces? Light cache is not supported on multi-GPU. And light cache only works when GI bounces more than once.

Hi, you could also send us over the scene for review. If you wish to share it privately go to the support contact form. Please include a link to this tread in your e-mail to support for better tracking.

Here are the screenshots of the view part and the settings we used. Also sending the model. There are quite a few VRScenes inside of this file, so not sure if it will load properly on your side.

Hi, this is a different scene that you have sent. In your first post you are showing an interior animation. Here we have a scene consisting of several houses and an exterior camera.

It is all in one, exterior and interior. One of the houses has a bathroom and bedroom upstairs that has the issue.

            Marked on the screenshot.

HI, I tested your scene a little. High intensity lights with very small radius present a challenge to any render engine. If you enable the "clamp secondary rays" feature but it gets rid of most of the fireflies in the scene.
