Live link issue...

Currently running into 2 issues with live link. 1. My HDRI image doesn'y show up in Vantage. I keep having to reload it while I use LiveLink to adjust my textures. 2. The frameless mode looks my mouse as a navigation tool vs having MAX control what I'm doing.

Are you talking about a Dome light with hrdi map? I did a test with a VRayBitmap loaded in a VRayDome for lighting settings and they seem to work with LiveLink with no issues (3ds Max 2024 and Vantage 2, update 1.10).

I do not understand this question. In LiveLink you can move in the scene from Vantage as well as from 3ds Max. Fullscreen mode does not change this.

Do you do any color corrections to the hdri map that goes into the dome light, for example color correction texture? If so Vantage doens't support this workflow and only loads the texture if no additional manipulation has been made to it.

You probably have pressed just the " ` " key and not Ctrl+`. The " ` " key enabled first person mode which takes your mouse and adjusts the view direction.

Yep...just a simple dome light with a vraybitmap using a hdri image...thanks for the reminder on the other issue. 3ds max 2024 and the latest version of Vantage.
