Can someone help me figure this out? I get my MAX model into Vantage, pull/push my sliders to my liking, hit render, and everything goes back to its defaults. I have to stop the render and change all of the settings again. The same thing happens with live links.

Hi, could you give us a bit more details?

I get my MAX model into Vantage, pull/push my sliders to my liking, hit render
Are you exporting your scene to Vantage using the Vantage toolbar buttons in 3ds Max and after that you work only in Vantage?

When you say you hit render, does this mean you are using the high quality render dialog box in Vantage?

We need to follow your exact steps. With the default workflow on my setup with my initial test I don't see any issues.

I am using the toolbar to export, set up my scene, and then hit the high-quality render button. Everything gets set back, and I have to set things up again. The same goes for the live link.

What gets set back? Which settings, the HQ render dialog?

Everything gets reset. Any slider that I slide goes back to the default. I'll see if I can record my screen.

I tested a scene on my Vantage and went trough every setting I could think of but nothing seems to reset. If you could make a recording that will be great.
Also have you tried a new simple scene? If you haven't please do and share the result.

It probably has something to do with Windows 11. It took two years for my Vantage toolbar not to delete itself. I requested help on that forever, was told it couldn't be reproduced, and then an update eventually fixed that.

In this particular case, it's probably not an OS/3dsMax issue.
If you can record a quick clip that shows what happens, we may be able to reproduce it and improve the workflow.

It is making things difficult. I stop a Vantage animation, change something in MAX, and return to Vantage to see my settings reset. I'll record when I can, but I can't be alone with this.
