Cannot save SketchUp model while running Vantage Live Link

It's pretty common that we will have Vantage running while we have a design session at my desk. We will make model edits while Vantage is running. I would like to be able to save my SketchUp model while Vantage is running but I bet an error that says CFileException 0. I definitely do not want to lose any work we have done but the only way to do this is to close the file.

This is some Sketchup or V-Ray for Sketchup limitation. We have no control over this in Vantage. I would expect the same error if you try saving while V-Ray is rendering (maybe with DR, because this is what live link uses).
