  • Strange streaks

    Hi to all,

I have a little problem when rendering an animation in Vantage and I hope you can help me:
We have a moving camera and some moving trees in our scene. Every frame leaves a trace in the next frame, what leads to strange streaks in our animation. Please have a look on the screenshot below.
The scene is rendered without motion blur.

I'd be very happy about any help.
Thanks in advance and best regards,
    Frederik

We've had a few issues like that. Are you using dual GPUs? Is the tree deforming? What driver version are you using?

We are releasing an update this week that fixes some denoising issues among other things.

      Hi npg,

      thanks for your fast reply.
Yes we are using dual GPUs on some machines and single on others. The issue occurrs on both I guess. The tree is deforming.
The driver should be: 31.0.15.3742 Maybe it should be updated?

      Thanks again!
      Best,
      Frederik

There is an issue with multiple GPUs that should be fixed with the next update. But there is another issue with deforming meshes for which you will have to switch to legacy mode in Edit->Preferences->Render defaults.
