  • Live link sequence of frames below zero

I want to render a sequence with Vantage through the live link. Now the problem is that my sequence starts at frame -50 and continues to frame 250. I understand that I need to split this sequence into a negative part and positive part. But Vantage does not save the negative frames as a sequence, but overwrites the frames each time.
Anyone have any idea how I can solve this? I do prefer to stick to an image sequence so I can include my render passes.

    Hi Lindhout,

I am able to render out a sequence with a range from below 0 without issues: https://drive.google.com/file/d/12RY...usp=drive_link
Can you try to render out the entire sequence without splitting it into 2 or if you split it just rename the second one so the names do not match - this way the newly rendered frames shouldn't overwrite the previous ones. Or if nothing helps can you send us a sample scene so we can test it?

    Best regards,
    Alexander

The problem only occurs when I turn on my render elements. Where Vantage has to save the render elements as separate files. All negative frames only get the set file name, without adding the frame number. If I turn off my render elements, it does save my negative frames with addition of the frame number.
