  • Vrscene Import not showing bump or reflection map

    Hi Chaos Vantage Team,

I seem to be coming across an issue when using Sketchup and Vantage and in particular importing vrscenes of geometry into a context model and sending to Vantage to render. I have attach two comparison images to help explain.

The first image is the base geometry all modelled in SketchUp and then live linked straight to vantage - the metal roof material has a bump and shows reflection from the sun.

The second image shown is made up of the whole house exported a vrscene/proxy from the original base geometry model and and imported into a clean SketchUp model and then live linked to vantage.
The second render from Vantage doesn't pick up the metal roof material bump and shows no reflection from the sun. (the sun angle hasn't changed between the two images for your information)

Am I doing something wrong, why does the vrscene loose the bump and reflection attributes when it becomes an imported vrscene?

Any help would be greatly appreciated from anyone. Currently running SU Pro 2021, Vray 6.2, Vantage 2.4

The metal room material bump is a normal map and the reflection and gloss maps are Jpegs.

    Thanks for any help

    Josh
