assign material to selected objects when selected group

when you select group and as a result you have selected few objects, and then you want to assign material to selected objects the material you have selected does not apply to all the objects but just one the object you picked in order to group select.
Can you please fix this

If you want to apply a material to all children of the currently selected objects, you need to right click on the material and choose "Assign this material to the selection and its children".
There is no button for this in the material lister toolbar.
