Wind Animation In Max Not Working

Hi,
I've added the trees in max from the Cosmos browser however, there is no movement in Vantage when using Live Link. I've ticked the Wind>Affect Vegetation box.
Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Hi, thanks for posting. Import the models from Cosmos straight into Vantage and they will work.

Do you think it will be possible to have the functionality of animated trees if they are imported into max and ported to Vantage through Live Link?

Yes. We've already requested a change in V-Ray for Max that will enable this. It will require an updated version of the plugin in Max.

V-Ray for Max has been updated to add the necessary metadata for these animated objects. It should be available in the next stable build here, tomorrow: https://nightlies.chaos.com/#/vrayma...ble/stable_6.2 (the one after 20240728 ). With this build you should be able to import animated trees from Cosmos in Max and they should be animated in Vantage when you check "Affect vegetation".
