"When rendering an industrial model in Chaos Vantage that is created in SolidWorks, there is a transparency animation where the transparency gradually decreases from 100 to 0, causing the model to gradually disappear. However, I've noticed a problem where the model appears black in the last few frames just before it completely vanishes. I'm not sure what the reason for this is." thanks

Hi, thanks for posting. A simple box with default V-Ray material with animated visibility works with no issues. There is probably something else in the scene. Could you send your scene for review? You can do that here or though the support contact form.

Your object just has too many layers.
Each one is counted towards the maximum 15 total bounces that Vantage can do.
We will make a note to increase the maximum for transparency.

Here is what we are trying for the next release of Vantage as a fix for your issue : https://imgsli.com/MjgzMDQ1
It works without raising the limit on the total number of bounces.
