Elements / tools are suddenly gone

Hi,

Im having lots of issues with vantage.
1. Is it normal when i click live link, that the middle upper toolbar in vantage becomes very limited? the only buttons available are camera,navigation,render settings and dlss. All the rest are gone.Like the move, rotate, cosmo etc
2. Suddenly I have no access to the sky and the sun? Sun is empty and when I want to choose sky, there is no option for it. only texture.

Yes, these are all expected behaviors.

The following actions can be done inside Chaos Vantage during Live Link:

• create cameras;
• create camera animation in the animation editor;
• edit environment and fog;
• add color correction effects;
• Render:
  • snapshots;
  • HQ still image;
  • HQ sequence;
• save .vantage file with the changes from above.

The following actions cannot be done inside Chaos Vantage during Live Link:

• transform objects;
• hide/unhide objects;
• reassign materials;
• edit lights;
• import external(including cosmos assets) files;
• animation playback.

In that regard when in Live link the UI in Chaos Vantage adapts to the limitations mentioned above and only the available actions/tools/tabs are left as to be not confused why some tools are not working. The following is hidden from the Top Toolbar and Side panels:

• Select, Move, Rotate, Scale, Move Pivot tools
• Chaos Cosmos Browser,
• Create Scatter, Fur, Decal, Lights, Camera and Scene State tools
• Lights and Object tabs
• Material lister in Material tab

2. Suddenly I have no access to the sky and the sun? Sun is empty and when I want to choose sky, there is no option for it. only texture.

If there is already a Sun in the host application then the Sun properties inside Vantage disappear. If there is no Sun in the host then there will be settings for it in Vantage.
