  • VR previz while animations play

    Hi!
    I've got a question that may be yet not implemented.

    Is there a way to walk around my scene in VR at "runtime", like with all the animations running and looping?
    I've got some lights moving and videos playing, but when I enter VR mode, everything is static.

    Hi, thanks for posting. There should not be any issues with geometry that is not deforming mesh. VR does not have any direct relation to the scene animation so if a regular viewport rendering works then a bug with this only in VR is highly unlikely. We will investigate it further and get back to you. Do you have issues in the viewport or only in VR?

      It happens in viewport in non VR too, if I press play, the camera animations start playing perfectly smooth, but lights and texture animatios (TV screens with "videos" playing on them) stay static until I stop the animation and they refresh to their current frame state, maybe there is an option I haven't checked,somewhere.

        Texture image sequences and deforming meshes are not updated when you play an animation in interactive mode because it would cause stuttering. They are updated when you scrub the timeline and when doing offline rendering.
