Hello! This is a very specific bug, but I recently discovered that an animated slice modifier does not work on an object with a VrayLightMtl and when the frames are rendered via "Render animation with Chaos Vantage". It works fine in the Vantage viewport when the 3ds Max timeline is playing. It only breaks once the final frames are rendered to stills.
Steps to re-create:
1. Create two cubes, both with an identical slice modifier animated to travel in one direction.
2. Apply a VrayMtl to one cube and a VrayLightMtl to the other.
3. Live Link to Vantage
4. Hit the play button in Max and both objects show the correct Slice modifier animation
5. Render the frames from Max to Vantage using the "Render animation with Chaos Vantage" button.
6. Only the cube with a VrayMtl shows the Slice modifier animation.
Happy to share a test scene as well!
