Scatter object select include/exclude

Mouse pointer cross/pointer vanishes when moved into scene for direct object selection. Is this right? Very confusing to work with

Can you record a video of how it looks ? It's working for me. In fact, the cross cursor is visible only when above the viewport or the scene outliner, otherwise it's the normal mouse cursor.

I'd love to show you but this is strange: When I make a recording of it the mouse pointer shows up in the recording But I notice the crosshair in the recording is the same as outside the viewport...

Hmm... I have a triple screen setup via docking-station. When I move Vantage to my laptop-screen the cursor shows-up as in the recording.
I guess this has to do with the multiple screen setup and video transfer.

Solved it. Turned off HDR on my screens in the windows display settings and the cursor showed up also in the viewport. I had the same issue also in Envision when picking manual camera exposure.
