I've been experiencing several issues with Chaos Vantage since switching to the RTX 5090. Most recently, I encountered a particularly strange problem.
When rendering animations via Live-Link, VRAM usage gradually increases with each frame. Eventually, once VRAM usage hits its maximum threshold, the scene either renders extremely slowly or crashes entirely.
What's odd is that when rendering the same file on my older machine with an RTX 4090, everything works perfectly with no issues at all.
I'm wondering if anyone else has encountered this problem — and if so, were you able to find a solution? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
In the attached image, you can see two frames rendered at different times, showing the gradual increase in VRAM usage.
P.S. All trees, people, and vehicles in the scene are animated.
System Specs:
CPU: Ryzen 9950X
RAM: 192 GB
GPU: RTX 5090
Vantage 2.7.1
Forest pack
3ds max 2024
All software is up to dated an lisenced
