When I have my lighting perfect in V-Ray, and bring it into Vantage, it is always too dark. I can pull up the exposure in Vantage, but how do I get it to match my V-Ray setup? I am not using auto exposure in V-Ray.

Use the V-Ray physical camera, not Max's physical camera.
Also don't use the global color mapping settings in V-Ray - they are ignored by Vantage.
