Camera animation workflow when wanting to start the scene from scratch

Hello,

Let's say I have a scene in vantage.
I animate the camera, which may take quite some time to work on.
Then I decide that my scene is too messy and I want to start from a new file.
How do I keep the camera animation I worked on?

Just need to save your scene into a vantage file, but i suppose that only works if you're in Live link.
