Is there an ETA on support for Vray Blend Material?

It's planned but there is no ETA.
The initial version will most likely support only bitmaps for the blend amount textures.
Is this too much of a restriction ?

Displacement has been requested a lot, so we will take a look at that for sure.
Sub-surface scattering might have to wait quite a bit however.

I am not a programmer so its probably a stupid question. When we look at Unreal engine and marmoset toolbag, that is a pretty nice looking realtime subsurface! Even in Blender's Eevee. Is it not possible to somehow use that kind of technology and implement it in Vantage?
I know its easy to say when you are not a dev but I know its probably not that easy to do.
