  • Osl map support

    hello thanks for this great program, I'm using wparallax map, but unfortunately vantages don't support it, please solve this problem. Thank you.

        Full support for OSL will probably not come any time soon, as it's quite complicated.

        We can however implement just the "wparallax" OSL shader (in its current code state) and support only that (by guessing that the OSL being loaded is wparallax and using our fixed version).
        Is this something that will be enough for you ?

            Hello again,

            I tried open wparallax scene may be that it will be open after 1.4 version new release, but it is crash.

            and it gave this error warning

                      it probably is, it was working even though it didn't show in previous versions.

                      maybe add wparallax support while solving the problem

                        It looks like an issue with the brand new VRayMultiSubTex support when it has sub-textures that are not supported - in this case the V-Ray OSL texture.
                        The crash is fixed in version 1.4.1 that we just released.

                        I am sorry, but we are working on some other large features, so support for the wparallax OSL shader will have to be done in some future release.

                              Hi, i just purchased wParallax using normal vray in houdini. get straight crash too.

                              would love a fix for this, as i need this on a new job we just started! has anyone got this working in normal Vray yet????
